The clergy of the Diocese of Glasgow and Galloway came together in Stranraer for their annual clergy conference (28 to 30 of October) to talk about sustainability in ministry. The Rev Dr Anna-Claar Thomasson-Rosingh, SEI’s Director of Studies, offered two Bible studies on ‘salt and light’, tracing the image from Matthew 5 and the rest of Holy Scripture and thinking what they might mean in their diverse contexts and ministries.
One of the organisers commented: ‘In the setting of the ballroom of the Castle Hotel, Anna-Claar invited us to dance, play, improvise with the allusions conjured by the text. Most importantly she helped us to investigate the questions that arise for each of us within our varied contexts.’
