The final residential weekend of the 2023–24 academic year was full of moments of celebration including Solemn Evensong led by the Rev Canon Dr Alasdair Coles and members of his congregation, All Saints’ Episcopal Church, St Andrews, on Saturday (after the Ascension) 11 May; and the Holy Eucharist on Sunday (after the Ascension) 12 May with Bishop Ian Paton presiding and Ross-Stirling Young preaching.
SEI welcomed candidates’ families to the Eucharist and the luncheon afterward to celebrate a medial pause in a journey that began many years ago when the Holy Spirit stirred up the baptismal waters of seven souls for ministry among God’s people.
Please pray for Helen Randall, Tim Hatton, Cam Hyde, Ross Stirling-Young, Maureen Farquhar, Eilidh Proudfoot and Laura Symon. From now, they continue as the Prayer Book would have it, ‘walking henceforth in [God’s] holy ways’.
