Dr Karen McClain Kiefer
IME1 Representative
Karen is currently an ordinand for priesthood in the SEI from the Diocese of St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane, as well as the IME1 representative on the Institute Council. She earned a PhD from the Institute for Theology, Imagination and the Arts at the University of St Andrews. Her ministry includes providing spiritual accompaniment, retreat and workshop facilitation, and guiding groups on walks and tours around Scotland. Within her ministry she incorporates work in the arts that emphasises creative storytelling and cultural awareness, and has directed, co-curated and contributed to numerous performances and arts installations in numerous and diverse venues.
