Rev Ross Stirling-Young
IME 2 Representative
The Reverend Ross Stirling-Young is Assistant Curate at St Columba’s, Stanley, and St Ninian’s Cathedral. He was ordained to the Diaconate in 2024 and to the Priesthood in June 2025. He is currently an IME2 student and will graduation with his BA(Hons) from the Common Awards scheme in 2027. Before moving to Perthshire, Ross lived in Fife and spent more than a decade lecturing in colleges across Scotland. He also serves on the Policy Insights Panel for Anthony Nolan, helping to shape policy developments affecting stem cell transplant patients. Ross previously served as a workplace chaplain with Morrisons and now offers chaplaincy support to asylum seekers living in the city of Perth and is the convenor of the Diocesan Global Partnerships Committee
