The Right Reverend Ian Paton
The Right Revd Ian Paton has been Bishop of St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane since 2018, a Diocese which covers Fife, Perthshire, and Stirlingshire, as well as part of Angus. As Convener of the Provincial Environment Group he has been involved in producing and promoting the SEC’s Net Zero Action Plan. Before his election as Bishop, he was Rector of Old St Paul’s, Edinburgh for 21 years, honorary Anglican Chaplain to Edinburgh University, and taught Liturgy at SEI. He is committed to serving a fully inclusive Church for all people, and to the formation of clergy and lay ministers to serve in the SEC.
