Dr David Lewis is SEI's Tutor in Theology and Study Skills. David completed his PhD at the University of Edinburgh in World Christianity. His doctoral research explored the relationship between Christian theology, cosmology and ecology while comparing three contemporary theologians' work, focusing on their development of a sacramental worldview. Originally from Canada, David lived and worked in South Africa for five years where his academic interests in African theology and World Christianity first emerged. His broader research interests include World Christianity, African theology, sacramental theology and ecotheology.
