On Sunday 6 July, Rev Dr Anna-Claar Thomasson-Rosingh, SEI’s Director of Contextual Formation a Third-Order Franciscan (TSSF), preached at St Ninian’s Episcopal Church, Prestwick. Anna-Claar’s was a Franciscan sermon on what it might mean to be sent ahead of Jesus without purse or bag or even sandals. Anna-Claar and other SEI staff often travel across the Province to resource the wider Scottish Episcopal Church by presiding, preaching and presenting talks.
Commenting on the sermon, the Rector, Rev Canon Jane Ross, wrote to Anna-Claar saying, ‘It was lovely to have you visit. Thank you so much for worshipping with us yesterday and preaching. You made quite an impact’.
