The Residential Weekend in May always holds the excitement of wishing our Leavers well for the next part of their journey, from Initial Ministerial Education 1 (IME1) into IME2, where they will continue being formed by God in ministry, serving in charges across the country.
As we bade farewell to Emma, Lana, Karen and Tosh, we gave thanks for all that they have contributed, so far, to the learning at SEI and looked forward to all that they will bring to the next stage.

At the Sunday Eucharist, Bishop Anne Dyer presided and Acting Principal, Rev Dr Anna-Claar Thomasson-Rosingh preached. Bishop Anne blessed holding crosses that were presented to each of the leavers as they, too, were blessed. IME2 Officer and Pastoral Tutor, Rev Liz Crumlish reminded Emma, Karen, Lana and Tosh of Jesus’ encounter with Peter after the resurrection when Jesus invited Peter to ‘Follow me!’, observing that we are uniquely called into and equipped for a ministry without comparison.
We look forward to seeing how God continues to work in and through our students at the Scottish Episcopal Institute.
